An annual contract that includes four planned preventive maintenance visits to each site per annum, spaced approximately three months apart.
2 of these visits will be “major visits” and two will be “minor visits”.
Major visits comprise of...
Removal of fascia panels and letter faces from illuminated signs.
Signs tested for full illumination, any identified failed lamps, starters, control gear or cabling will be replaced as necessary to bring signage to full illumination.
Carry out further tests to illumination of signage after replacement of faulty parts to ensure that they are in full working order.
Thorough clean of interior signage including reverse side of letter faces and face panels etc.
Reinstallation of letter faces and face panels.
Thorough clean to exterior of letters faces, face panels and exterior of letter casings and fascia sign boxes.
Integrity check i.e. tug test, ensuring that all the signs are safely secured.
Minor visits comprise of…
Visual inspection of signage to ascertain illumination failure.
Thorough clean to exterior of signage only where it has been established that there is full illumination.
In cases where illumination failure is identified, the replacement of failed components shall be constituted in line with specification for a major site visit.
Throughout the contract we will report on any issues detected regarding the integrity of a sign that may result in the sign not performing structurally or aesthetically.
All sites under contract are subject to a comprehensive breakdown warranty, which provides a reactive attendance for illumination failure within five working days or otherwise specified.
The warranty extends to all necessary labour, access equipment and materials, I e lamps, control gear, neon sections, chokes, starters and transformers.
The only conclusions to the contract are failed power supply, time clock failure and damage to fabric.
Call outs to exclusions will be repaired against our schedule of reactive rates or quotation to repair.
Special notes:
Projecting signs, vertical signs and signs of other designs shall be serviced in the same manner as described above.
Non-illuminated signage will be thoroughly cleaned on the exterior only.
Signs with exterior illumination e.g. spotlights and over head trough lights shall be serviced in line with specification for non-illuminated signage but lighting units shall be serviced on accordance with specification for illuminated signs.
Comprehensive Silver
An annual contract that includes two planned preventive maintenance visits to each site per annum.
The one visit will be classed as a “major visit”

All reactive calls attract a call out fee inclusive of the first crew hour on site, additional time on site and materials used are charged against a schedule of rates set at preferred levels of exclusivity.
